Shipping & Returns
My goal is to deliver your purchase as quickly as possible. All orders have a processing time of 12-48 hours, delivery is with Australia Post and should arrive at your door within (at most) 3-5 working days. If you order a variety of products, e.g. a book, a quilt and some jewellery, you might like to email me first with the order and I will get back to you with the best shipping price possible, and instructions on how to proceed with the purchase. Some things will have to be shipped and paid for separately, but I will definitely try to group together as many items as possible if it will save on shipping costs.
All orders are subject to availability. If your order can not be filled because the item is out of stock, you will be notified via email or phone, refunded and the item will be taken off of your order.
When an item is out of stock, pre-orders can be made on some items. A 50% deposit is requested upon confirmation of order and the balance before delivery. Please email me with your delivery address to email@example.com and we can discuss pre-orders.

Due to high shipping prices, I have not included international shipping as an option. However, if you are from outside of Australia, and would like to get a quote on shipping one of my products, please don’t hesitate to email me with your query: email@example.com.
I understand the difficulty in inspecting a product when buying over the Internet. As I would like you to feel confident purchasing with me, I am prepared to accept returns under the following circumstances:
In the event that the product does not meet your expectations it must be returned, unused within 7 days of receiving the goods. Postage and handling in this situation is non refundable, however you will receive a full refund of purchase price.
PLEASE NOTE that for hygiene reasons, jewellery cannot be returned due to change of mind, so please choose carefully. If you need assistance or extra photos of any of my items to help your decision making, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to exchange an item, the item must be returned unused in original packaging including all tags, within 7 days of receiving the goods. You will need to pay the postage/delivery and handling costs involved in returning and redelivery of the new product. Please remember that the quilts and cushion covers are unique, so if you wish to exchange these, keep in mind there isn’t another the same. You will be invited to choose from available stock.
Before your purchases are shipped to you, I personally inspect your items to ensure they are in perfect condition. Your items are then carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in the exact same condition. In the unforeseen event that you receive your goods in a faulty or damaged condition, please email me at email@example.com as soon as you open the package, the faulty goods may be returned with a replacement arranged at no extra cost or a full refund accepted including postage and handling.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON THE QUILTS & CUSHIONS:
These items are recycled, vintage hand-made ART! They are not brand new, perfectly factory finished or pristine. However, while there will be some inconsistencies in some, none of these items are ruined with stains or marks, and all have been inspected, photographed, and laundered by me personally, and are in perfect practical order. I’m just pointing out, that if you’re someone who gets upset by a loose thread here and there, or an irregularity in the product, then this product is not for you. These items have been made by a group of Indian women who hand-stitch recycled Indian saris together to make these quilts and cushions. I hope you will love them as much as I do!
